Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Please call the ACLT Office to register and verify time.) Lunch will be provided for pre-registered participants.

Description: Non-native invasive plants are a threat to our forests and wildlife!

Become skilled at identifying non-native plants. Learn invasive plant removal and management techniques that work. We will be identifying common invasive plant species that live on that ACLT managed lands. This training will include a presentation, group exercises and hands on identification and removal techniques.

Directions: From Prince Frederick, Maryland: From the light at Route 2/4 go approximately 2 miles east on Dares Beach Rd. Turn right onto Double Oak Road and drive one mile. Turn left onto the gravel lane, drive past the ACLT office, and park in the designated area adjacent to the office. The ACLT office address is 676 Double Oak Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678.

Note: Dress for the weather (Training will be held indoors and out). Please wear or bring boots (hiking or waterproof) and durable clothes (shorts and/or open-toed shoes are not recommended).
